Yogurt

Liquid or Solid? You might think this as a simple question, that anybody could answer. In some cases, yes, but in other cases, uhhh, no. An example of a easy question would be "Is water a liquid or a solid?" your answer would be liquid. Some things are fairly easy to categorize into liquid or solid. Other things seem like they belong in both categories. Like yogurt!

Yogurt is something that can't exactly be categorized into liquid or solid. It can be a liquid, because it does eventually take up the space you put it in (like water does). But it can also be a solid, because it is fairly firm (like a brick). 

Personally, I think that yogurt would be more of a liquid than a solid. If you plop yogurt into a bowl, then it wouldn't just stay there, it would slowly swoosh out and spread within the space in the bowl. It if stays there, then it would be solid, but if it takes up the space, then it's a liquid. 

If you search up "Is yogurt a liquid or solid" the results would be many opinions, and many people who say it's neither. I don't think scientists have gone into the trouble of going through experiments and research to answer the question.

Christmas

What's the best time of the year? Christmas!! Everybody loves Christmas. You get presents, eat cookies/candy canes and some of your favorite foods, and you get to go outside and look at all the pretty Christmas lights. I think that Christmas is the best holiday in the whole year. It's a special time when my family can all come together and celebrate.

One thing about Christmas that irritates me is that I can never think of what to buy for my brother and my parents as their presents. Of course, my brother being a typical teenager, he would want some violent video game, but those cost about $50.00 each. My dad is a A&M fan, so I would buy him an A&M shirt or mug or something, but he seriously has too much of that stuff. My mom is hard to buy gifts for. She never asks for anything, except a appointment for a massage.

Another reason I love Christmas is because my birthday follows shortly after! But the bad thing about that is that my parents don't know what to get me after all those Christmas presents...

Handwriting

Have you ever looked at your handwriting? What about other people's handwriting? They are very different, aren't they? I've looked at my friends' handwriting and compared it with mine. The results are interesting.

When looking at peoples' handwriting, I've noticed that most girls have good handwriting. None of the boys have good handwriting, except for 2 boys. If boys actually spent their time to make their handwriting good, then it would probably be better. But boys usually aren't the ones who care about education, so they don't spend time on stuff like handwriting.

Looking at girls' handwriting, I've noticed that all the Asian girls have big, round letters that are slightly spaced out. All the other girls have more long, skinny letters that are somewhat squished together. It's very strange. Once, I tried to write like my friend, but then when I wrote, it was really uncomfortable and foreign. I think that each of us have a different taste for different handwriting styles, which is why our handwriting are all different.
